Gymnastics Mats

Our gymnastics mats are roll-out floors made for clubs, schools and shared spaces. Each section rolls across the floor with one person or carries easily with two. Built-in Velcro joins the sections into a continuous floor with no visible tape, so they suit full-time gymnastics studios as well.

How the Gymnastics Roll Out Mats are made

Gymnastics Roll Out Mats use:

foam: closed-cell cross-linked polyethylene, for shock absorption and durability
surface: heavy-duty non-slip sports carpet
bond: flame-laminated, fusing the foam and carpet together
back cuts: computer-cut in the foam's back so each section rolls without the top being cut

Thickness and foam

35mm Standard Sports Foam: the most portable.
50mm Standard Sports Foam: a mix of performance, versatility and portability.
38mm Sports Flex-Foam: for performance and competition.
50mm Sports Flex-Foam: for everyday high-impact training.

Widths and lengths

Standard roll widths are 1.5m and 1.83m, and 2m wide is available by request. Rolls are made to the length you need: send us your room size and we'll work out the roll lengths.

How thick should gymnastics mats be?

The roll-out floor comes in 35mm or 50mm Standard Sports Foam, or 38mm or 50mm Sports Flex-Foam. 35mm is the most portable. 50mm Sports Flex-Foam is for everyday high-impact training.
